Anna was adopted from Russia at age 7 by John and Jill Stollmeyer of Indiana. Anna Stollmeyer's adoption was disrupted and at 11 year old she was placed with Gary and Lisa Barnes of Texas who adopted her. At age 13, Barnes sent Anna to live with Nicole and Calvin Eason. She spent 2 days there before Gary Barnes, fearing for her safety, came to get her.
