Dmitri Stewart

14 year old boy adopted at age 3 by William and Victoria Stewart was left at Nicole and Calvin Eason's home in Danville, Illinois in March 2007 by his adoptive father. The Stewarts had been Florida residents but were living in Scotland at the time. About 3 weeks later, fearing for Dmitry's safety, Megan Exon and a Georgia woman took him from the Eason's home back to the friend's home in Georgia. Dmitri was turned over to child welfare authorities in Georgia where he was placed in an approved foster care home.

William and Victoria Stewart were allowed to 'disown' (relinquish parental rights?) to Dmitri in exchange for paying for his care until he was 18.
