20-year-old man of Coeur d'Alene, ID, contests the adoption of his son through LDS Family Services.
Ty or Tyler Wesley Knight aka "Baby Harvey" was born two weeks early. Child's mother Camnie Knight did not contact the father Matt Tenneson, and his family, as she had promised when she went to the hospital to deliver. On July 2nd, four days before the scheduled due date, the Tenneson family contacted Ms Knight only to learn that Tyler was already with a Utah family, Jed and Cally Nielson. The found a lawyer the next day and filed suit on July 5th.
Cammie had arranged an open adoption through LDS Family Serivces since she was Mormon. The adoption has not been finalized.
