Letter to the Editor - Idaho judge's order dubious

Kudos to the Nielsons who are refusing an inane ruling by a suspect judge to give up their baby Harvey to an absentee birth father. Somebody at the Deseret Morning News should look deeper into the allegation that Idaho Magistrate Barry E. Watson has an ongoing, conflict-of-interest relationship with the family of Matt Tenneson, the birth father. Nothing else can explain the judge's meritless and extra-legal ruling against the adoptive parents. Watson reminds me of Mike Nifong, the nonsensical Durham County district attorney who was finally disbarred for prosecutorial misconduct in the Duke lacrosse case. The Nielsons have broken no laws and neither has LDS Social Services. No way should the Nielsons obey a senseless order from a dubious judge to return their baby to a one-time, disinterested sperm donor.
