We are committed to providing the most current, accurate and thoughtful information on open adoption. We are an 501 (c) (3), federal non-profit status. We are not affiliated with any adoption agency or facilitation service. It is our hope that people at all stages of the adoption process can find the information and support they need to have healthy open adoption relationships. Please consider volunteering.

We believe that when an adoption does occur, children are best served by maintaining relationships with their birthfamilies.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
We believe that adoption creates extended family relationships between birth and adoptive families regardless of whether there is contact or not.

We believe for open adoption to best serve children
