Lauren Jeanne Savage passed away July 23, 2011 at 2:25am. She is survived by her mother Francis Elliott; her husband Kenneth Savage; her five children Jordan, Heather, Joel, Lyndsay, Taylor; and her eleven grandchildren. She will be missed by countless friends and family. We share in her long awaited conquer over cancer and rejoice that she is home in Jesus’ arms once more. In her 56 years on earth, she lived a life full of faith, love and virtue. It is because of this faith in Jesus Christ she was able to continue blessing all those around her even through her own personal struggles. She is best known for her thoughtful gift giving, encouraging phone calls, and ability to give praise to Father God in any and every circumstance. One of her favorite things to say was “You don’t praise God because of what He has done, is doing, can do; you praise God because He IS!” God has not called us to be perfect, He has called us to be full of faith. Lauren Savage, you are an exceptional woman. We will forever honor you and all you stood for. The family invites you to a Memorial Service at 10:00am in the Chapel of Floral Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday July 27, 2011 with graveside services to follow. A Celebration of Life Service and Reception will be held at Cornerstone Family Church on Sunday July 31, 2011 at 5:00pm.
