Mother, Daughter Sentenced On Abuse Charges

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- A Clarksville woman and her adopted daughter have been sentenced for the sexual abuse and torture of two girls.
55-year-old Windie Perry and 23 year old Elizabeth Perry were convicted last month in the case, involving foster children. Windie Perry was sentenced to 20 years on Thursday, while Elizabeth was sentenced to 8.
According to the Leaf-Chronicle, the judge called Windie Perry "a dangerous offender whose behavior indicates little or no regard for human life". The victims testified that they were raped, beaten, and kept in dog kennels.
Both the Perry's asked for mercy during sentencing.
