Russian adopted child killed in Canada

A four-year-old Russian adoptee, named Sasha, has been beaten to death in Canada by the lover of his adoptive mother. The report about this can be found in the Twitter account of the Kremlin’s children’s rights Ombudsman Pavel Astakhov.

The development comes a few days after an American court released on bail the killer of another Russian adoptee, Ilya Kargyntsev. The boy was killed in 2005 by his American adoptive father. A total of 19 Russian adoptees are known to have died at the hands of their American adoptive parents.
