Guilty pleas entered in summer Midland County stabbing
A 15-year-old boy charged as an adult in connection with a summer Midland County attack that left one man dead and three others hurt has entered a plea in the case.
Steven Jeffrey Pribbernow Jr. appeared before Midland County Circuit Court Judge Jonathan E. Lauderbach this afternoon and pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree homicide and three counts of assault with the intent to commit murder. Pribbernow was represented by Midland attorney Scott A. Isles.
Pribbernow has been held without bond in the Midland County Jail since the stabbings, which occurred in the early morning hours of Aug. 4 at 5180 W. McNally Road. Killed was his 17-year-old adoptive brother, Justin Steven Pribbernow. Injured were his adoptive brothers Kody Christopher Pribbernow, 13 ½ and Kevin David Pribbernow, 15; and his stepfather, Joshua Saylor, 32.
Sentencing has been scheduled for April 8. The charges are punishable by up to life in prison.
