3 family members sentenced in abuse of adopted girl, sentencing postponed for 4th in case

FAIRVIEW, Okla. (AP) — A Fairview couple and their daughter have been sentenced for the abuse of the couple's now 13-year-old adopted daughter.
Sentencing of the couple's son for rape in the case is being delayed.
Forty-six-year-old Penny Sue Tyler was sentenced Monday to 60 days in the county jail and given a 10-year suspended sentence. Fifty-one-year-old Ardee Tyler was given a 10-year-suspended sentence and 21-year-old Nathania Tyler a 90-day suspended sentence.
Ardee and Penny Tyler pleaded no contest in Major County District Court to felony child abuse of the girl. Nathania Tyler pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery.
Still awaiting sentencing is 20-year-old Ashton Tyler who pleaded no contest to rape by instrumentation.
