Louisville woman pleads not guilty to arson charges

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - There were new developments Monday morning in the case of a Louisville woman accused of setting fire in one of her children's rooms.

Linda Ellington pleaded not guilty to arson charges for allegedly starting a Friday night fire. Investigators say the adoptive mother of four set fire to her 17-year old's room in their Larkwood Avenue home. The teenager was able to escape and call 911, no one was hurt.

The judge set bond at $25,000. Ellington will be in back in court June 18th.
