The States of Jersey Police can confirm that the teeth and the bone fragments found in the vicinity of cellars three and four have undergone initial examinations in the UK. There have now been a total of five teeth found. Three of the five teeth were found last week, while two were found the week before.
These items have been sent for further examination in the UK, including carbon dating and hopefully DNA testing.
We are not expecting any update on these results before the beginning of next week.
The States of Jersey Police will not comment on the preliminary test results.
