RITES FOR THREE TOUCHETTES ON MONDAY IN WATERTOWN

A combined funeral for Michael R. Touchette, 31, Kailua, Hawaii, and his two children, Kalah Kim Touchette, 2 1/2, and Joshua Michael Touchette, 10 months, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Watertown, with Bishop Craig Tuckett, Watertown ward of the Syracuse Stake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, officiating. They will be buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Watertown.
Mr. Touchette and his wife, Wendy, were injured in a fire Aug. 26 at their home in Kailua. The two children died in the fire. Mr. Touchette died at 11:58 p.m. Monday in Straub Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii, of his injuries. His wife, Wendy, survives.
Calling hours will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Besides his wife, Mr. Touchette is survived by his parents, John J. and Evelyn Finn Touchette, Campbell's Point, Sackets Harbor; five brothers, John S., AuSable Forks, Thomas M., Albany, David C., Denver, Colo., James J. and Jason D., both of Sackets Harbor; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Jacquelyn A.) Plumpton, Lorton, Va., Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn M.) Gaulin, Adams, Mrs. Craig (Catherine M.) Spicer, Fabius, and Mrs. Michael (Mary E.) Giles, Syracuse; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Surviving Kalah Kim and Joshua Michael Touchette, besides their mother, are their maternal grandparents, David and Sally Clemons, Baltimore, Md.; paternal grandparents, John J. and Evelyn Finn Touchette, Campbell's Point, Sackets Harbor, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Touchette was born May 4, 1960, in Brockport, a son of John J. and Evelyn Finn Touchette. He graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 1978, after which he attended an extension of Brigham Young University in Honolulu. He later graduated from Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1985, with a degree in business science.
He married Wendy Clemons of Baltimore in March 1987.
Mr. Touchette was employed by his father-in-law at Clemons Heating and Air Conditioning, Baltimore. In 1989, they moved to Honolulu. Mr. Touchette was a partner with his brother-in-law in the operation of the film-processing firm Fromex Processing Co., Honolulu. At the time of his death, he had been starting a new film-processing company with a new partner at Sea Life Park, Honolulu.
Mr. Touchette was an active member of the Mormon Church of Kailua, second ward, which he also served as secretary of the elders' quorum and was a home teacher who visited Mormon families.
His father, John J. Touchette, is a Sackets Harbor village trustee.
Kalah Kim Touchette was born Dec. 26, 1989, in Baltimore. Joshua Michael Touchette was born Oct. 21, 1990, in Honolulu.
