Obituary: 1952-2002 Westfield-Gienia (Baczek) Kolenda 50 of 3 Allen Ave. died Sunday, October 20, 2002. She was born in Poland and was the daughter of the late Jan and Stefania (Kochanek) Baczek. Gienia was currently taking classes at Holyoke Community College. She was the wife of Richard Kolenda and the mother of Yana and Toli Kolenda. Gienia leaves one sister Janina Ciepiela of Poland. She also leaves an aunt Genowefa Kochanek of Chicopee several cousins Zofia Davenport of Hampden, Ryszard Bania of Chicago, Halina Kochanek of CT and Andrew Kochanek of CT. The funeral will be Monday at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church 335 Elm Street Westfield, with burial to follow in St. Mary?s Cemetery Westfield. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-6 PM at FIRTION-ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 76 Broad St Westfield.
