Obituary: 1953-2002 Westfield-Richard Kolenda 49 of 3 Allen Ave. died Sunday, October 20, 2002 in Springfield. He was born in Poland and was the son of Wladyslaw and Wladyslawa (Stankiewicz) Kolenda. He was a Major serving in the US Air Force retiring in 1994. He also recently became a member of the Massachusetts Board of Realtors. Richard was the husband of Gienia (Baczek) Kolenda and the father of Yana and Toli Kolenda. He also leaves one brother Edward and his wife Jola and one sister Mary Pierce and her husband Jay all of Westfield and several uncles, aunts, nieces, and cousins. The funeral will be Monday at 10AM in the Holy Trinity Church 335 Elm St. Westfield, MA followed by burial in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Westfield.
