Foster mother charged with murder in death of Gresham toddler

The foster mother of a Gresham toddler has been charged with murder by abuse, Gresham Police announced Saturday night.

Saturday, investigators arrested and charged Dunia Soledad-Moreno with Criminal Mistreatment I and Murder by Abuse. The foster father was not charged in the case.

Two-year-old Keyana Bravo- Hamilton was brought into Mt. Hood Medical Center by her foster parents, 38 year old Armando Moreno-Garcia and 29 year old Dunia Soledad-Moreno, on Monday. The girl was pronounced dead at the hospital. The following day, the Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death to be from internal injuries.
