OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A local man is using his wealth to save young lives overseas. It’s the ultimate adoption effort.
Their faces tell this story. They are 268 children in the Philippines who need homes. They need families. They need hope for the future. Now, 48 year old Gabriel German plans to come to their rescue. He plans to adopt 268 little ones.
His business ventures made him a millionaire, and now he’s giving back. We said if were going to do it wed better do it now and the timing was right, and if I didn’t do it I don’t think anybody else would have the opportunity to do it as well.

Some of the children were living on the streets; eating two meals a weeks; lost souls. Now they live at an orphanage German opened almost two years ago. He will soon move them to live at a Catholic Church compound.
“I think it will give them some kind of stabilities in their lives and someone to look up to. I think that’s what they’re really looking for,” he said. “We’ve got kids from four days up to sixteen, and its great for them not to worry about where their next meal is going to come from.”
German says it will cost $7 a month to care for each child; $1500 a month to care for all of them and to pay for the twenty workers who will help them. It is his commitment for life to save young lives.
German will go overseas next month and hopes to adopt all 268 children before the end of February.
