AACASA Inc: Australian African Children's Aid and Support Association (www.aacasa.org.au)
A proportion of the income from all trips to Ethiopia is donated to AACASA projects in Ethiopia. These include sponsorship of orphaned and vulnerable children (food, education and health care) in Bahar Dar and Debre Tabor and providing childcare facilities and training for young single mothers in Godanaw to allow them to learn a trade such as hairdressing or sewing so they can support themselves and their child.

We encourage travellers to carry humanitarian aid to developing countries. In 2007 Icon Adventures travellers brought around 150 kilograms of aid to Ethiopia including baby formula for the Koala foster home and medical supplies for the fistula hospital.
