| This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and was found to be in non-compliance. The foster parent had a friend over to the house on several occasions. This person also spent the night in the foster home. The foster parent did not comply with applicable foster parent laws by not getting a background check for this individual. Also, the mother of the foster parent was the emergency caregiver for the foster children. She was frequently in the home. No background check was requested for this individual as required by standards. | |
