Humanitarian Aid
Humanitarian Aid
International Mission of Hope is dedicated to helping the people of Viet Nam care for themselves. IMH spends an average of $40,000 per month on humanitarian aid programs in Viet Nam.
These programs include monthly sponsorships for the feeding and health care of children, the elderly and those in need. IMH has built orphanages, medical clinics, facilities for the elderly and handicapped, education centers, surgical units and physical therapy units. IMH also helps with disaster relief and reforestation.
IMH works with PACCOM (People's Aid Coordinating Committee) and MOLISA (Ministry of Labor, Invalides and Social Affairs). These agencies recommend projects to IMH and oversee the administration of funds. PACCOM is a body set up directly by the Prime Minister for the purpose of overseeing funds that are spent on humanitarian aid efforts. For some projects, IMH works directly with the provinces needing assistance.
