A Dallas lawyer previously convicted of purchasing a child in an adoption scheme pleaded guilty Friday to two additional counts of the third-degree felony.

Robert I. Kingsley, 61, was sentenced by a jury in October to seven years in prison after being convicted of paying an unwed 22-year-old mother more than $2,000 for living expenses in exchange for her child. Kingsley is appealing the case as well as state District Judge Gerry Meier's refusal to dismiss the other cases against him.

On Friday, Judge Meier sentenced Kingsley to 10 years' probation and a $1,000 fine in the other two cases. Kinsley also was ordered to pay $37,500 in restitution to a set of adoptive parents in one case.

Kingsley's wife, Mary Zoe Kingsley, entered a no contest-plea Friday in two cases of child purchase against her. She received five years' probation and a $500 fine in each case.
