About me

My niece and nephews come from a broken home. One of their fathers is in jail for abusing them. Their mother was having trouble raising them alone and sought help from her mother. Although the kids were old enough to be alone, an incident happened while their mother was in the hospital, and their grandmother was at work, that landed them in the jaws of the foster care system.

These kids have had rough lives. But nothing could have prepared them for the horrors that awaited them in the foster care system.

I do have a 4 yr college degree in Social Work. I have an over-developed sense of justice and I am not afraid to use it.

Animal within

Tiger, I have a mother tiger temperament when my loved ones are threatened. This is the year of the Tiger. This is Foster Care Awareness Month (May 2010). I have a niece and 2 nephews in foster care and at least one of them is in grave danger.
