Until you walk in her shoes, you will never know the heart ache and joys this mom has been through.
No Acceptable Excuse
What excuse is there to ever hit a child with a baseball bat, joys and heartaches aside! It's a terrifying thought that anyone would excuse any type of abuse of a child especially a child with a disability. If you can condone this I hope you do not have children.

-There is no acceptable excuse to deliberately treat a child like trash: Esther--my Korean sister--is a general ed sister, and so I am doing my best to be nicer to her.
-I once had a teacher--Mrs. Laurie Busby--who was herself adopted from Ukraine, but only with mild arthritis: She told me how it broke her heart that so many Ukrainian children have been abused even after being adopted, she told me how this abusive lady was stupid, she told me how she felt sorry for this Ukrainian boy with Down syndrome who was treated like trash, and she told me that she felt sorry for me because I had this stupid abusive "helper" who told me, "Julia's stigma is not your stigma" (Julia was the mean girl from Russia who called me a four-eyes).
