MONROE — Opening statements began Tuesday morning for the trial against Jami Lea Jones, 43, and Louis David Jones, 43, who both face charges in the 2009 death of their 6-year-old adopted son.
Assistant District Attorney Sam Barth opened up the day’s proceedings.
