N. Arizona man accused of molesting 2 adopted daughters

FLAGSTAFF, AZ - A 51-year-old Arizona man has been arrested for allegedly molesting two adopted daughters.
The Coconino County Sheriff's Office says the man, who lives in a subdivision east of Flagstaff, has been charged with multiple felonies stemming from alleged sexual contact he had with two of his underage adopted daughters.
A family friend first reported the alleged abuse after one of the girls said her adopted father had been molesting her.
A deputy and detective interviewed the girl who said a second adopted daughter was also a victim of the alleged molestation.
After an initial investigation, deputies arrested the suspect for two counts of child molestation.
A subsequent investigation included physical examinations and Safe Child Interviews with both victims.
After a review by the Coconino County Attorney's Office, a complaint was issued charging the suspect with two counts of child molestation, four counts of sexual conduct with a minor, one count of sexual abuse and two counts of sexual abuse of a minor.
The name of the suspect was not released by authorities to protect the identities of the victims.
The investigation is ongoing.
