Golubeva, Liudmila 'Luda'born December 14, 1941, passed away at age 65, after her long battle with cancer, on April 14, 2007. Luda is survived by loving daughter Ekaterina and ½ brother, Slava Kashurin, both of St. Petersburg, Russia. Luda is special to the St. Louis community for having assisted over 500 St. Louis area families adopt orphaned children from St. Petersburg, Russia.Services: Funeral Service to be held on April 17, 2007, 6:00 p.m., St. John Chrysostom Russian Orthodox Church, 3774 Gravois Road, House Springs, MO. Visitation held immediately following the service. The family requests that donations be made, in Luda's memory, to Small World Adoption Foundation of Missouri, 15480 Clayton Road, Suite 300, Ballwin, MO, 63011.
