Survivors Foundation demand investigation of four judges

The Survivor Foundation asked the International Commission Against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG) to investigate criminal judges to four.

The first case concerns the failure of Sergio Castro, Judge of First Instance Criminal third, who left last week to freed doctor Feliciano Hernández  and lawyer Otto Gálvez, who were accused of having dealt with an illegal adoption.

Norma Cruz, president of that group, asked CICIG Adam Garcia and his vocal to investigate Coralia Contreras and Patricia Veras, judges of the Tenth Court Sentencing since the December 5, 2008 favored accused of stealing a baby 21 June 2007.

Fundación Sobrevivientes demanda investigar a cuatro jueces

La Fundación Sobrevivientes pidió a la Comisión Internacional Contra la Impunidad en Guatemala (Cicig) que investigue a cuatro jueces penales.

El primer caso se refiere al fallo de Sergio Castro, juez tercero de Primera Instancia Penal, quien la semana última dejó libres al médico Feliciano Hernández y al abogado Otto Gálvez, quienes fueron sindicados de haber tramitado una adopción ilegal.

Norma Cruz, presidenta de aquella agrupación, pidió a la Cicig investigar a Adán García y a sus vocales Coralia Contreras y Patricia Veras, jueces del Tribunal Décimo de Sentencia, ya que el 5 de diciembre del 2008 favorecieron a acusados de haber robado un bebé el 21 de junio de 2007.
