Two more teeth found in cellar area at Haut de la Garenne

public

RELEASED TO MEDIA AT 11.05 AM ON THURSDAY 5 JUNE

Just an update for you from Haut de la Garenne where work continues.

Two more teeth (both from children) have been found at Haut de la Garenne (cellar area) this week. This brings the toal number of teeth found up to 13.

Meanwhile, the sieving work continues.

The departure date from Haut de la Garenne depends on the speed of sieving the mass of material waiting.

This is dependent on the number of specialists available to us. There is a demand in Europe for them at present. There are still a number of things to be completed at the site yet and much will depend on the direction dictated by the various laboratory tests on the evidence.

Thanks - when we have any more updates, including test results, I will let you know. I do not have a time scale for these as yet.

Also, as a reminder, Gordon WATERIDGE is due back in Court before the Magistrate next Monday (9 June)

Thanks
