Media briefing notes from Haut de la Garenne

A number of journalists are asking about the previous use of Haut de la Geranne by the 'Bergerac' production team.

The search teams are aware of this issue and the disturbance that may have been made to the grounds when TV sets were established temporarily. The need to search the area is based on a number of factors and the historical filming use of the area will be taken into consideration when the results of searches are known.

We have been asked to remind you of the need to continue to ensure that the publication of  reports from witnesses and victims are not prejudicial to future legal proceedings. We are grateful for your ongoing co-operation with this important issue.
