More calls as inquiry receives national TV coverage

As a result of national media coverage last night, the historical abuse investigation team received two additional calls from people claiming they were victims of historical abuse.

The States of Jersey Police have now spoken to over 70 victims and believe they have identified around 21 potential suspects.

We would continue to urge anyone with any information about historical abuse they may have suffered to contact either the dedicated NSPCC helpline or the locally based historical abuse investigation team.
