Vietnam - My Linh Soland aka My-Linh Duong Soland case
My Linh Soland facilitated Vietnam adoptions to Ireland by systematically forging documents and encouraging wrongful removal and theft of children.
After spending 3 years in a US prison for fraud, intimidation of witnesses and conspiracy, My Linh Soland was selected by the Irish Adoption Board to coordinate adoptions from Vietnam to Ireland. Birth certificates were forged, babies were listed as abandoned even though the orphanage knew the parents, and humanitarian donations were pocketed by corrupt officials. At least 150 children were placed in Ireland, all apparently with false paperwork.
The Irish Adoption Board replaced My Linh Soland with Vu Thi Tanh Binh, her primary employee.
My Linh Soland also may have worked with US and French families.
