DETROIT -- Two witnesses who were in two-year-old Isaac Lethbridge's foster home on the day of his homicide testified in court this morning that they have no idea who injured the toddler and never even asked.

Former Detroit foster mother Charlsie Adams-Rogers, 60, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, a 15-year felony, and child abuse for failing to protect Isaac from abuse prosecutors claim occurred while in her care.

The identity of the abuser is a mystery, but Adams-Rogers has blamed her then-adopted daughter, who was 12 at the time.

Isaac died from multiple blunt force injuries and severe burns on Aug. 16 2006. Six adults and eight children were in the home at the time, but all claimed not to have seen or heard anything.

No one has been charged with inflicting the abuse.

Lianthia Rogers, 19, Adam-Rogers adopted daughter testified about discovering Isaac's body under a blanket in a bedroom. She said she had not heard a thing even though she was in a nearby bedroom because her TV volume was loud.

The teen told the court she would lie to protect her sister China Rogers, now 13, who Adams-Rogers has blamed for Issac's death. "Whatever goes on in our house, stays in our house," Lianthia Rogers said.

The court also heard from Adam-Rogers son, Anthony Rogers, 42, who was at the home when Isaac's body was discovered, but left before police arrived. He said that he did not discuss with anyone in the house who might have killed Isaac.

When Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor Lisa Lindsey asked why he never asked his mother who killed Isaac, he answered, "My mother was quite busy."
