Donations sought for Butler Family

Donations are being accepted to help pay for the funeral of Andrew Butler and aid with his family’s living expenses.

Butler, 13, was shot and killed by his father, William A. Butler, on Saturday evening, June 18. At presstime, the father remained in custody and the incident continued to be under investigation.

First United Methodist Church, Morgan County Soccer League, Morgan County Schools, Starting Points, Morgan County 4-H, Community Choir and Morgan County Partnership have joined together to start the fund and help the family.

Special memorial service

A special service in memory of Andrew Butler will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at the Warm Springs Middle School gymnasium. A separate service from the funeral. It is open to students and other members of the community.
