Andrew Arthur Butler, 13, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at his home near Hedgesville.

Born Aug. 16, 1997, at Donetsk, Ukraine, he was the son of William Alan and Roberta Lee Ogg Butler.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist youth group. He had completed the seventh grade at Warm Springs Middle School in Berkeley Springs; was a member of the Morgan County soccer league; the Warm Springs Middle School cross country team; and was a member of the Mighty Iroquios 4-H Club in Sleepy Creek. Andrew enjoyed video games, fishing, basketball, soccer and his two parakeets.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Mary Natasha Butler; and one brother, Benjamin Anthony Butler, both at home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, 49 S. Green St., Berkeley Springs, with the Rev. Andrew Cooney officiating. Interment will be private.

There will be a gathering of friends beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at Warm Springs Middle School, 271 Warm Springs Way, Berkeley Springs.

Green St., Berkeley Springs, WV 25411; or to the Morgan County Soccer League, c/o Debra McLaughlin, 77 Fairfax St., Room 301, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.

Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union St., Berkeley Springs.
