Meet Doctor James R. Loerke, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Doctor James R. Loerke, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was arrested in September, 2002 and charged with the serial lewd molestation of a female family member over a period of three years. At the time of Loerk’s arrest the victim was 10 years old and police learned the abuse had ended a year previous when the victim refused to go to Loerke’s bedroom anymore. Dr. Loerke initially told police that the child had seduced him and that she:
is not responsible at all even though she has promiscuous, seductive type behavior like a well-seasoned prostitute.In June of 2003, Loerke pleaded guilty to the four counts of lewd molestation. In September of 2003 he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Loerke surrendered his license as an osteopathic physician following his arrest.
In August of 2004, Loerke appeared in Tulsa County District Court for a one year review. At that hearing his sentence was reduced to 15 years in prison followed by 5 years of probation. Loerke’s records with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections are Available Here.
