Trials for former law dean, wife continued in Virginia Beach

The trials scheduled for former Regent assistant law school dean Stephen McPherson and his wife Melina Ann have been continued until Sept. 2.
The couple faces separate charges in Virginia Beach of taking indecent liberties.
In Chesapeake, McPherson was convicted of forcible sodomy and object sexual penetration. A Chesapeake Circuit Court judge sentenced him to serve 16 years in prison -- 80 with 64 years suspended -- on Monday.
