Adoption firm hires

Samantha Brown and Rachel Jorgensen were recently hired as adoption coordinators at the world headquarters in Evansville of Families Thru International Adoption.

Brown, an India program coordinator, previously was employed by Standing Partnership Public Relations in St. Louis, Mo. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.

Jorgensen, a senior Vietnam program coordinator, previously was employed in consumer relations at Mead John's pediatric nutritional group. She graduated from Indiana University.

Adoption service hires, promotion

Jill Gallman and Natascha Moore have been hired as China coordinators at Families Thru International Adoption.

Gallman previously was employed by Deaconess Hospital. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.

Moore previously was employed by 14WFIE-NBC. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.

Maury Reising has been promoted to a senior coordinator in the China Waiting Children Division at Families Thru International Adoption.

She had been a coordinator in the division. Reising graduated from the University of Evansville.

Simpson promoted

Nicole Simpson has been named manager of the China Program for Evansville-based Families Thru International Adoption.

She previously was a China coordinator since joining the organization in 2004. Earlier she was a human resources assistant at AmeriQual Foods Inc. in northern Vanderburgh County and worked for the Indiana Breast and Cervical Cancer Program in southern Indiana.

Adoption service hire

Maureen O'Connor has joined Families Thru International Adoption as associate director.

She previously was director of resource development for Bill Dunbar and Associates in Indianapolis and was director of occupational and urgent care medicine for St. Mary's Medical Center and its subsidiaries.

Adoption group hires

Families Thru International Adoption has two new hires, Mary Utley and Laura Seibert-Cavins.

Utley, named the adoption group's executive administrator, previously was the executive secretary to former Mayor Russ Lloyd Jr.

Seibert-Cavins joins the adoption group's China team, coordinating adoptions in that country. She most recently was a family case coordinator and caseworker with Vanderburgh County Office of the Indiana State Division of Family & Children Service. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.

Adoption agency hires

Maury Reising has joined the staff of Families Thru International Adoption as a special needs coordinator. Reising is a graduate of Reitz High School and the University of Evansville.

A licensed social worker, she was formerly employed with the Office of Family and Children, where she served as supervisor for family case managers.
