Adoption Advocates presents a program on adopting, 5-7 p.m. at Loussac Library. This is an international agency based in Port Angeles, Wash., and licensed in Alaska to provide adoption services. The organization is placing children from China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Ethiopia and Bulgaria, as well as from the United States. Executive director Merrily Ripley, who with her husband adopted 18 children who are now adults, will speak. Information packets may be requested by calling (360) 452-4777.
