Mothers are demanding two girls rescued from nursery

Two women who were on hunger strike in front of the National Palace to demand the appearance of their minor daughters who had been reported stolen have been recognized today during a proceeding in the Attorney General's Office (PGN).

Ana Escobar and Olga Lopez ended their fast and went to PGN today to see if some of the children show them that there were theirs.

Juveniles were found and made available to that institution after a raid last Saturday on a clandestine crib house in zone 9.

Escobar said that indeed there was Zulemita her daughter, who was seized in March 2007 and acknowledged that thanks to the moon it is the girl.

Olga Lopez also said to recognize her small one Suly Amaryllis[sic], which is unknown when she was just robbed the 37 days ago.

Although the women claimed as theirs to two children, PGN did not allow the meeting because the legal process has not yet been clarified.

To ensure clear that Anna and Olga have found their daughters should be the practice of DNA testing at the request of a juvenile court.

Madres reclaman a dos niñas rescatadas de casa cuna

Dos mujeres que hicieron huelga de hambre frente al Palacio Nacional para exigir la aparición de sus hijas menores que habían sido robadas dijeron hoy haberlas reconocido durante una diligencia en la Procuraduría General de la Nación (PGN).

Ana Escobar y Olga López pusieron fin a su ayuno y acudieron hoy a la PGN para verificar si algunos de los niños que allí les mostrarían eran los suyos.

Los menores fueron hallados y puestas a disposición de esa institución tras un allanamiento el sábado pasado en una casa cuna clandestina en la zona 9.

Escobar dijo que efectivamente, allí estaba su hija Zulemita, a quien se la arrebataron en marzo de 2007, y que la reconoció gracias a unos lunares que la tiene la niña.

Olga López también dijo reconocer a su pequeña Suly Amarilis, que desconocidos se la robaron cuando apenas tenía 37 días.

Pese a que las mujeres reclamaron como suyas a las dos menores, la PGN no permitió el encuentro porque el proceso legal aún no se ha esclarecido.

Para garantizar fehacientemente que Ana y Olga hayan encontrado a sus hijas, se deberá practicar la prueba del ADN a pedido de un juzgado de menores.
