Sixth tooth found in cellar area at Haut de la Garenne

public

Thursday 15 May 2008

This afternoon (Thursday 15 May) the team discovered another child's tooth (the sixth found) in the vicinity of cellar three.

A few bone fragments (not known yet whether they are human or animal) were also found this afternoon.

We are waiting for the results of the five teeth and the unidentified bone fragments already in the UK, and as we said yesterday, these are expected in the middle of next week.

In the meantime, work continues in cellars 3 and 4 at the home.
