Final appeal for abuse witnesses

Jersey police are making a final appeal for witnesses to come forward in connection with an investigation into child abuse in the island.

Police are investigating claims of abuse against children who were in care from the early 1960s to 1986.

Officers said they wanted a "full picture ... to get to the truth".

The inquiry has focused on former children's homes, including Haut de la Garenne. The appeal is being backed by support group Jersey Care Leavers.
