MOTHER ACCUSED OF KILLING BABY; Korean Orphan, 2, Adopted by Couple 6 Months Ago

A Queens woman was charged yesterday with the murder of a 2-year-old Korean orphan she and her husband had adopted six months ago, the police said.

They said that Mrs. Marie Firth, 34 .years old, of 86-1.1 30th Avenue in the Jackson Heights section of Queens,

threw her adopted daughter Kim Marie to the....

Apparently, the police said Mrs. Firth became angry whet the girl refused to eat. Mrs. Firth immigrated from Ireland 10 years ago and married her husband, Frank Firth, a printer, nine years ago, the police said. The couple adopted Elm [sic]  tn February after being unable to have a child of their own, the police said. Final adoption papers were to go through in $anuary [sic]......
