PASSAIC - Three Bergen County men were charged with soliciting a prostitute in a police sting on Wall Street, authorities said. The woman they allegedly solicited was an undercover police officer.

Michael Culhane, 51, of Montvale Arturo Lewis, 38, of Ridgewood and Edward Banko, 52, of Wallington were arrested Thursday night and released with summonses, pending a court hearing, police said. A fourth person, Rachel Gonzales, 18, of Passaic, was charged with prostitution, police said.

Officers from the Special Investigation Division set up the sting after receiving numerous complaints from residents in the Wall Street and Eighth and Ninth streets neighborhood about prostitutes in the area, said Detective Andy White, a police spokesman.

"If people want to come into Passaic from Bergen County, or any place, and want to engage in illegal sexual activity, we're going to find you, and you'll be arrested," said White, referring to the crackdown.
