Police arrested a woman and her son Friday in connection with the death of her 5-year-old foster daughter, who was killed by habitual beatings.

Arrested and charged with second degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child were Sophia Murray, 34, and her son, Robert, 18, who live in the King Tower Project in Manhattan,  police  said.

Urandia Anderson, who died early Thursday, was killed by habitual beatings that left her with bruises, a broken leg, and a lacerated liver, an autopsy revealed.
