The Buffalo News

Angela Dozier was indicted Friday in the death of Terrell Parker, her 2-year-old foster son, and an assault on his brother, Terrence, 4, in her Linwood Avenue flat.

During her arraignment, Dozier, 30, pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder and child endangerment counts. Erie County Judge Shirley Troutman ordered her held without bail.If convicted on the murder charge, Dozier faces 25 years to life in prison, said Erie County District Attorney Frank J. Clark, who noted that both boys were rushed to Women's and Children's Hospital on Aug. 6.

"Valiant efforts by medical personnel could not save Terrell," he added, but declined to comment on the boys' injuries.

The boys were placed with Dozier in November, Clark said. They had been living with a Blasdell couple and an elderly Buffalo woman.
