TRENTON -- Armed with a search warrant, Cache County authorities reportedly took several items -- including two bags of garbage and a computer -- from the home of a Trenton family suspected of abusing their two adopted daughters. ``It seems to me they're digging for anything they can,'' said Kathy Merrill, a family friend who watched the search Thursday. ``It looks like they're getting desperate.''
