Alfred couple admits hurting 4-year-old son
BELMONT -- An Alfred couple pleaded guilty Tuesday in Allegany County Court to charges they abused their 4-year-old adopted son.
Jane H. Cochran, 44, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Timothy Cochran, 49, pleaded guilty to endangering the the welfare of a child.
Judge Thomas P. Brown sentenced the wife to four months in the Allegany County, 90 days of electronically monitored house arrest, five years of probation and 100 hours of community service. He sentenced her husband to 60 days in jail and three years of probation.
