PLUM: Guilty of child porn, abuse

A Plum man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of producing child pornography while sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl.

Matthew Alan Mancuso, 45, of Shearer Road, entered the plea last week before U.S. District Judge Terrence McVerry.

Prosecutors said Mancuso coerced the girl to engage in sexual activity for the purpose of producing pornographic photos, which federal agents found on a computer diskette during a search of his house in May.

Mancuso is being held without bond pending sentencing Jan. 7.
