ROY - Adele McFarlane Jensen passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005. She was born June 27, 1920 in Ogden, Utah, to Horace James and Inez Saunders McFarlane. On

October 28, 1940, Adele married Duane Alexander Jensen. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Adele was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions of responsibility during her life. She truly exemplified Christ-like love. She never had an unkind word and always treated everyone she met with respect and kindness. Her life was truly one of example. Over the years she served in the Ogden Temple and as a Primary President, Young Women's President, and Relief Society President in all the various places she has lived. Mom was an accomplished cook, artist, musician and Master China Painter and Instructor, winning many accolades for her beautiful work. Her husband, son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the focus of her life.

Adele is survived by her dear husband, Duane; a son, Duane Chris (Karla); grandchildren, Lisa Allen (Cameron), Matthew Jensen,

Amy Thornock (Corey)

, and

Andrew Jensen (Jennifer). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Camille Adele, and Samantha Allen; Jaiden, Sienna, Sage and Gunnar

Thornock; Alex, Nichole and Melanie Jensen; Max Jensen; and her brother, Dr. James McFarlane (Lolita).

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a beloved sister, Helen. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Roy 13th Ward, 5127 South 2400 West. Friends and family may call at the church Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation National Headquarters, Donations, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33309-2130. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Lindquist's Roy Mortuary.
