DEVELOP LOCAL LEADERS
With training in Education, Medicine, and Law, graduates of the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls will be both equipped to continue studies in tertiary schools and poised to become the next generation of leaders in Malawi.

ADDRESS NEEDS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
Through direct work with and education for the surrounding communities, girls will gain hands-on experience with teaching others; they will also stay connected to the real needs of their own communities.

EMPOWER WOMEN'S AUTHORITY
Graduates of the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls will be empowered to have a larger role in family decisions. With proper education in women's health and domestic violence, fewer women will contract HIV, and they will be further enabled to take control of their lives.

INITIATE DEMOGRAPHIC SHIFTS
By staying in school longer, girls end up marrying later. This, combined with family planning and health education, will in turn decrease HIV prevalence, the fertility rate, and the infant mortality rate.
